A Vaginal Birth After a Cesarean, or a VBAC, is a safe and empowering option for most Women who have undergone a previous Cesarean Birth. The culture surrounding VBAC's though can be a bit difficult to navigate, a bit confusing, and above all, overwhelming! Be it family, friends or professionals, everyone seems to have an opinion, and all too often one opinion conflicts with another.
The VBAC Support Group is a safe place for Moms (and professionals in the Birth World) to gather with the purpose of giving and receiving information and support around the many joys and challenges of VBACs! Ask questions, share resources, heal and inspire through experience, all while connecting with other Moms who are walking down a similar path.
Each group will include a topic discussion as well as an open forum. Discussions include topics such as; asking for support, birth preparation, HBAC and WBAC, birth art, doulas, managing the naysayers and much more. I encourage you to bring something to write in…it is nice to have somewhere to record thoughts, feelings, questions, and inspirations while on your journey through pregnancy, birth and parenting. I will also have journals available for purchase.
· Contribution: $10 ($35 for 4 groups)
· When: this is a Drop-In Group on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the Month from 7:00 – 8:30 PM
